The blizzard pummeling the West Coast has closed every road in and out of the Tahoe Basin, with extensive warning issued for roads in the area that remain open. Every facility has a variety of programs to help incarcerated individuals, whichcan include: Visitation information effective 12/22/2022, Visiting Hours: 8:00AM-3:15PM (Latest Arrival Time 2:00PM). Just get out there and see it for yourselves. It is accessible in the winter by over-snow-vehicles on the gated access-controlled groomed Summer Road and in the warmer months of June-November, most vehicles can easily travel the gravel Summer Road.
