We stayed on Moorea a week ago and visited both the Sofitel and the Hilton, it all depends on personal preference but our thoughts were: - amazing views of Tahiti from the resort, - less private as the property adjoins a public beach, - more compact looking resort (can look 'busier' due to less space), - preferred and look/layout of the OWB's to the Sofitel's.
